Hauni built the Protos 80 series around maximum efficiency, precision and output, and whether the run is regular or slim cigarettes, it holds consistency and productivity that has made it a trusted choice on high-volume lines.
Capacity tops out at 8,000 cigarettes a minute on regular diameters and 7,000 on slim and super slim formats, with cigarette circumferences from 17mm to 28.3mm and combined filter and tobacco rod lengths from 65mm to 110mm, covering king size through to slim and niche formats on the same machine.
A high-level PLC control system, run on either a Siemens IPC or a Beckhoff IPC, keeps the cycle smooth and automated, with real-time monitoring cutting human error and a built-in microwave weight control system holding consistent cigarette weight across the run.
Three units work in sequence, the S7000 rod maker at 50KW, the M8000 filter tip attachment at 20KW and the F80 automatic tray filler at 15KW, and at a total weight of around 10,800kg the whole line is heavy, stable and used in cigarette factories worldwide for continuous, large-scale production with low wastage and precise engineering.
