The Hauni Protos 70 is engineered toward the higher end of production efficiency, running 7,000 cigarettes a minute on regular diameters and 6,000 on slim and super slim formats, giving factories real speed and format flexibility from one line.
Cigarette circumference range runs 17mm to 28.3mm with combined filter and tobacco rod lengths from 65mm to 110mm, so formats can change without the rod losing consistency from run to run.
A Siemens or Beckhoff IPC control system keeps the sequence automated and reliable, and a microwave weight control system holds every cigarette to a precise weight; the line itself is made up of the S7000 rod maker, the M8000 filter tip attachment and the F80 automatic tray filler, each handling its stage cleanly.
Power draw runs 50KW for the S7000, 20KW for the M8000 and 15KW for the F80, and at a total weight of around 10,800kg the Protos 70 is heavy, stable and built for the kind of continuous running large-scale cigarette production demands.
