Cigarette Wrapping Machines in Pakistan
The wrapper is the last thing your customer sees before they open the pack, which is why a clean, tight seal matters so much. Civic Tobacco Machinery supplies cigarette wrapping machines in Pakistan that give you a neat film finish, a straight tear tape and packs that stay fresh on the shelf.
From single-pack overwrappers to box wrapping and carton boxers, we cover the full range. Every machine we sell is checked, set up and handed over ready to run, with spares and service you can call on when you need them.

What Is a Cigarette Box Wrapping Machine?
A cigarette box wrapping machine finishes and protects a pack after it leaves the packing machine, rather than forming or filling anything itself. This stage covers everything from sealing an individual pack in film to grouping multiple packs into an outer carton ready for shipping. It’s the last mechanical step before a product is genuinely ready for distribution, and it’s a separate function from making, filtering, or packing equipment earlier in the line.
Pack Overwrapping vs. Carton Boxing: What’s the Difference?
These two terms get used loosely, but they describe two different stages with two different machines. Overwrapping seals an individual pack in a layer of film, typically with a tear tape for easy opening, and happens immediately after the pack leaves the packing machine. Boxing happens further down the line, grouping a set number of already-packed products into an outer carton for shipping and retail distribution.
Our Regular Wrapper CP1 and Naked Over Wrapper handle overwrapping at the individual pack and outer pack level respectively, while the SASIB Boxer and Molins Boxer handle carton-level boxing. Depending on how far your line extends toward a finished, shipping-ready product, you may need one stage or both.
How Overwrapping Actually Protects a Pack
Overwrapping isn’t purely cosmetic. A properly sealed film wrap protects the pack from moisture during storage and transport, gives a visible, tamper-evident seal that reassures a retailer or end customer the pack hasn’t been opened, and finishes the product to a retail-ready standard for shelf presentation. Skipping or under-specifying this stage shows up later as damaged stock, moisture-affected product, or a pack that simply doesn’t look finished next to a competitor’s.
Speed and Output Across Our Wrapping & Boxing Range
Wrapping and boxing machines operate at different stages, so their speeds aren’t directly comparable to each other:
- Regular Wrapper CP1: runs up to 250 packs per minute, overwrapping individual packs.
- Naked Over Wrapper: runs at 25 outer packs per minute, handling the outer pack or carton stage rather than individual packs.
- SASIB Boxer: runs up to 25 boxes per minute, grouping packed product into outer cartons.
A lower number at the carton stage doesn’t mean weaker equipment. A single outer pack or carton typically contains multiple individual packs, so a much lower carton-level speed can still comfortably keep pace with a much higher individual-pack wrapping speed earlier in the line.
Matching Wrapping Output to Your Packing Line
Whichever wrapping or boxing machine you choose, its output needs to keep pace with your cigarette packing machine, or it becomes the new bottleneck right after a stage you’ve already optimized. A packing line running an HLP-225 at 225 packs per minute, for example, needs an overwrapper rated to genuinely match that pace, not just one that runs “fast enough” on paper.

Frequently asked questions
An overwrapper seals an individual pack or outer pack in film, typically with a tear tape. A boxer groups a set number of already-packed products into an outer carton for shipping. They handle different stages of the line and aren't interchangeable.
It depends on how far your line extends. If your product ships as individually wrapped packs without further cartoning, an overwrapper alone may be enough. If you're building a complete line through to shipping-ready cartons, you'll typically need both stages.
Our wrapping and boxing range is built to handle standard cigarette pack formats, but exact size compatibility depends on the specific machine. Tell us your pack dimensions and we'll confirm which machine fits your product.
Both. Reconditioned wrapping and boxing equipment is fully inspected, serviced and tested before sale, giving growing factories a lower-cost entry point without an unknown machine history.
